Reagan National Airport: Secure National Hall Project
Delivering Mission-Critical Infrastructure for One of the Region’s Most High-Profile Aviation Projects
Netcom was selected to deliver low voltage and electronic security infrastructure for the Secure National Hall Project at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)—a highly visible modernization effort creating two new TSA security checkpoints and improving passenger throughput.
This $6.5 million project, completed in 2023, required exceptional coordination, security clearances, and adherence to airport construction procedures. Netcom’s scope included:
Telecom cabling to 1,000+ new locations
Installation of 400+ surveillance cameras
Deployment of 170+ access control doors
Installation of 14 flight information displays
Installation of 24 84-inch checkpoint information screens
Expansion of the paging system with 500+ new speakers
Operating in an active airport environment demanded precision planning, night work, system cutovers, and strict airside and landside protocols. Netcom delivered the project on schedule, demonstrating our ability to support large-scale aviation infrastructure with minimal operational disruption.
