In 2025, Netcom Technologies partnered with the Frederick Police Department to deliver a transformative Audio Visual upgrade designed to enhance communication, situational awareness, and operational readiness for law enforcement personnel. This $575,000 project demonstrates Netcom’s commitment to supporting agencies that protect and serve the community.
Building-Wide 4K Video Distribution
Netcom deployed a full-building video distribution system connecting 40 commercial UHD displays used for briefings, monitoring, operations, and administrative coordination. This unified system allows staff to route critical video sources to any display in the facility as needed.
Integrated Collaboration & Conferencing
Five conference rooms were modernized with:
Extron control systems
AI-enabled PTZ cameras
Ceiling microphones & AV audio
Secure video-conferencing platforms
These rooms now support command meetings, remote coordination, and inter-agency collaboration with improved clarity and reliability.
Enhanced Officer Communication
A facility-wide paging system was installed to provide consistent audio coverage, enabling fast, clear communication for announcements and emergency notifications.
