MITRE 3 – 4th Floor Renovation
Secure Infrastructure Modernization Across 28,000 Sq. Ft.
Netcom Technologies delivered a comprehensive low-voltage and security infrastructure solution for MITRE’s 3rd building, 4th-floor renovation—a 28,000 sq. ft. project spanning both classified and unclassified environments. Designed to support mission-critical research and federal programs, this project required absolute precision, strict security compliance, and seamless integration with existing MITRE systems.
Our scope included the installation of:
Cat6A copper cabling
12, 6, and 4-strand OM4 multimode fiber to 151 workstation locations
48-strand multimode and 24-strand single-mode backbone fiber between seven telecom rooms
Customer security cabling for approximately 165 devices including cameras, card readers, and motion sensors
AV monitor installations throughout the space
Netcom coordinated closely within MITRE’s secure operational environment to ensure all structured cabling and security systems met federal and agency-specific compliance requirements. This project reinforces our 18-year partnership with MITRE and our role as their trusted CPI contractor across the nation.
