Complete Turnkey Infrastructure for a New Secure Facility
Netcom delivered a ground-up structured cabling and security system for MITRE’s new Honolulu office—a 10,173 sq. ft. mix of classified and unclassified environments built to the organization’s strict federal standards.
Project Scope
Our turnkey scope included:
37 dual Cat6A network faceplates
1 single Cat6A location
8 Cat6A wireless access point locations
23 twelve-strand OM4 multimode fiber runs for unclassified networks
23 twelve-strand OM4 multimode fiber runs for classified networks
Four Cat6A two-port faceplates for open storage zones
All classified-area workstation cabling was installed in secure surface raceway.
Infrastructure installation included:
19” equipment racks
Vertical cable managers
Overhead ladder tray systems
PDUs
Two-bay COLO cabinets
Security infrastructure included cabling for 97 devices including cameras, card readers, and sensors.
This project demonstrates Netcom’s nationwide capability to deploy secure structured cabling systems for high-stakes federal environments—even thousands of miles from the mainland.
