John Staples

John has over 26 years of A/V design, engineering, programming, training, and implementation experience in A/V.

John started his career in AV after being honorably discharged from active duty with the US Navy in 1992 -1996. From the years of 1996 – 2001 John was active reserve USN and completed his reserve time as an Aviation Electrician 2nd Class Petty Officer. After his military service, John became a professional DJ in the DMV area. John began working in the field with companies such as American Campus Management, DirecTV, and Tweeter Home Audio.

John quickly moved up the ranks into various roles in engineering, estimating, and project management. In 2009 John joined Kalothia as an AV Engineer then ultimately promoted to Director of Engineering. John joined NETCOM Technologies in 2022. He brings his experience, knowledge, and leadership to our AV department.
